To ensure preparedness for your notary appointment...

Check you have the following:

Identification

  1. Government approved and valid ID. This can be a state Identification card,  driver's license, US passport
  2. State of CA employee identification card
  3. Non CA identification card or driver's license
  4. Federally recognized government tribal identification card

Signers and Witnesses

All signers must be present for the notarization. If your document requires a witness to be present, the witness must be unrelated and impartial (the witness must have no gain in the document they are witnessing). If you are unable to provide a witness, we are able to provide one for you at additional fee.

Documents

Ensure you have all documents that require notarization.

Please ensure you are aware of the notarial act being request. Whomever has required the notarial act will be able to tell you the notarial act needed.

 

Address and Location

During the appointment confirmation process, we will confirm the address and location of the signing. This location can be a residence, coffee shop, public library, etc. 

Preferably the signing location should be equipped with table and chairs to conduct the signing efficiently, clearly and error-free 

 

Agree and confirm rates and fees

Agreed upon rates and fees will be confirmed during the appointment confirmation. Should there be additional notarizations needed outside of the agreed amount once the appointment commences, the signer agrees to and additional charge of $15 per signature per person notarized
